AI Content Detector - Cautious Risk Triage Privacy Policy

All analysis runs locally inside the browser using deterministic JavaScript
heuristics. No text, sentence, selection, or derived feature is sent over the
network. The extension declares no host permissions and does not call a remote
API, model, or analytics endpoint.

Analyzed text and results are stored only in chrome.storage.local on the
device and browser profile to provide recent-review history. History is capped
at the 25 most recent entries and can be deleted immediately with the Clear
history button. Local history and aggregate, non-text usage metrics are also
removed when the extension is uninstalled. There is no server-side account or
server-side data to delete.

The extension does not fingerprint users, track browsing history, or read page
content outside text the user explicitly selects through the context menu or
pastes into the popup. The storage permission persists local history and
aggregate non-text counters. The contextMenus permission adds the
right-click AI-writing-risk action and supplies the selected text without
script injection. The extension requests no activeTab, scripting, or host
permissions.
